Pottok group B

For breeding a Pottok with an athletic build, it is allowed to cross breed with a stallion of another horse breed.
Allowed are these breeds:

       Arab
       Anglo-Arab
       Connemara
       Welsh
       New Forest
       Poney Français des Selle

The stallions have to be recognized for Pottok breeding by the French "Association Nationale du Pottok". The B-Pottok has to own at least 50% purebred Pottok.

Breed description

size:: 45 - 58 inch in high (115 - 147 cm)
colour:: all brown-, sorrel - and black shade. As well as all piebald with one or more of these colours
head:: straight expression, line :or slight concav profile; wide forehead, good sized ears; wide separated, attentive and intelligent eyes open nostrils
neck:: long well based neck with dense mane which reach up to the good marked withers
body:: slight slanting shoulder; broad chest; short, straight line back; short, muscular sloping croup; thick, good based tail
basis:: strong extremities with good bone building and spread joint, upper arm long and well maculated , well maculated tubular bone, short, dry sinew; middle length and not to much sloping ankle; good proportioned hooves
temperament:: lively and powerfull
use:: for all kind of riding and going by carriage.

Breeding with a stallion Pottok group A and a Pottok mare group A will be a foal Pottok group A.
Breeding with a stallion Pottok group A and a Pottok mare group B will be a foal Pottok group B.
Breeding with a stallion Pottok group B and a Pottok mare group A will be a foal Pottok group B.
Breeding with a stallion Pottok group B and a Pottok mare group B will be a foal Pottok group B.
Breeding with a recognized stallion of an other breed and a Pottok mare group A will be a foal Pottok group B.
Breeding with a recognized stallion of an other breed and Pottok mare group B will be a Pony foal.
